Our approach

How we handle
your access

Remote IT means we can reach your machines. That's a serious responsibility, and how we handle it defines whether you can trust us. Here is exactly how we work — in plain terms.

S.1 Access is the exception, not the default

Monitoring runs continuously and quietly — it reports health, not your screen. Interactive access, where a person connects to your device, is different: it happens for a reason, with your agreement, and it's logged.

Our principles

  • Named accounts only. Every person who can reach your systems has their own identity. No shared logins.
  • Consent-based sessions. We connect with your approval, and you can see a session is happening.
  • Least privilege. We hold only the access the work requires, and no more.
  • Everything logged. Sessions and changes leave a reviewable trail you can ask to see.

S.2 GDPR & data processing

Answers IT is operated by BluePeak Studios LLC in Wyoming, USA. For engagements involving EU or UK personal data, we document the controller/processor relationship, processing terms and appropriate safeguards in a written Data Processing Agreement before work begins.

You can always leave

No lock-in. If you end the engagement, we hand over cleanly, remove our access, and delete the data we held, per the DPA.

S.3 What our tooling is — and isn't

We use a professional remote-management platform to connect securely, keep an inventory, and log activity. It exists to make access controlled and accountable. It is not a surveillance tool, and we don't use monitoring to watch what your staff do.
